New York Fashion Week was fun filled & fashionably explosive!
Between my birthday & the fashion shows,
NYC found a new way to make me love him!
I visited the Shop Style showroom with 'Photographer P' in tow.
This photoshoot was the result!
Feel our energy, Enjoy every photo!
See you soon!
Last night, I was able to meet the man behind the Etiquette movement--
Enitan O. Bereola II
The Contemporary Gentleman has coined the term:
(highly appealing & pleasing to the human senses & mind;
to captivate while also providing pleasure or delight-
especially in appearance or manner)
The rooftop of NY's elite Empire Hotel housed our intimate group soiree.
Enitan gave us, Gentlewomen, a sneak peek into his highly anticipated book--
I'll keep the insight we received as secret!
I really want you all to go get the book and read it with anticipatory hearts and minds!
For now, go get
Bereolaesque: The Contemporary Gentleman & Etiquette Book for the Urban Sophisticate
and Gentlewoman: Etiquette for a Lady from a Gentleman.
Follow him on his social media! (@Bereolaesque)
U're guaranteed to be inspired!

Now that I have your attention!
Let me tell you about my new favorite restaurant:
Root n Bone!
Delicious eats with a down-home flare!
There are NO WORDS for how simply flavorful and savory these dishes were!
We're gunna start with the dessert and work our way up to the appetizers!
I started you off with the Peaches n Cream!
I don't have to tell you how incredible this was, do I?!
Ice Cream Sundae
Root n Bone's Award Winning
Fried Chicken and Waffles
in a wire basket!!!
Drizzle some of that whiskey maple syrup
& enjoy heaven.
Now these appetizers were more than finger-licking good...
They were plate-licking good!!!
The Grilled Peach Salad and the BBQ Brisket Biscuit
WHEN you go there!
Tell them the Queen sent you!
For the first time ever, I celebrated my actual birthday in my city!
Being born & raised in NYC
has left me jaded when it comes to the excitement I feel about the city.
Until Wednesday, September 9th, 2015!
I explored my hometown in a way I never have before and I gotta say--
There's NO PLACE LIKE HOME!
I would like to thank the Adrenaline 365 Team
for affording me the opportunity to take a
beautiful bird's eye view of NY/NJ Metro area!
In one swoop, I saw & learned so much from Mike, the pilot!
From explaining why taller buildings aren't inland Manhattan (the soil's too soft)
to showing us the tallest building in NJ (so small compared to NY's Freedom Tower)
Check out the pix I have below!
My birthday was celebrated in Royal Fashion!!!
Wait til u hear the rest!
Stay Tuned, My Royal Family!
My Royal Family!
I went to a real castle!!!
Howard Gould and his wife, actress Katherine Clemmons,
created the original estate on Sands Point, purchasing the land in 1900 and 1901.
Castle Gould was designed by architect Augustus N. Allen in 1902 to look like
Ireland’s Kilkenny Castle and was completed in 1904.
This impressive 100,000-square-foot limestone building
was intended to be the main residence on the estate,
but when Katherine decided that it did not suit her,
Howard proceeded to build Hempstead House.
Check out the slide show below!
I know I'll be going back to my home away from home very soon!
A lot of the grounds were closed off because
the hit TV show: Gotham is being filmed there!
Keep making your home into your castle,
Until u get a castle to make into your home!
Here's a snippet from my day on Friday..
I was basking in the sun
with this flawy dress from a boutique on Long Island..
I was in a store and a little girl came over to me and said:
Excuse me, Miss! Can I ask you a question?!
I said: Sure!
She asked: Is your dress Turquoise or Teal?
I responded: I don't know! What would you say it is??
She said: Teal!
I said Ok! Teal it is!
Some kids can be so cute!
Here's a look at my delicious lunch!
Another pic.. Just because!
Un-Teal Next Time!!!
