Hey Royals! One of the mantras that has propelled Regalia Lifestyle is: Live how you dress! My closet is a fusion of style: both trends & classics So when it came to my mini kingdom, it's no wonder I would don the wall in the same manner of my closet. This wall has gone through many changes through the years.
And because of my changing taste: I don't spend a lot. (Also a theory I use in my closet) This season of my life, I chose to go with an Eclectic Gallery Wall. My palace is neutral & kinda match: With whites, silvers, golds, treys, beiges & specs of color in small items So to create an accent wall, I needed something that would stand out, no matter what was on it... I chose Brick. This faux brick wall took about a day, with the help of my friend, Susan. Next: decorating it! i had collected these frames over a short period of time. (Thanks eBay!) Planning out the placements was the hard part. I traced each frame on brown paper. Then used tape to arrange the composition on the walls. I had to love with it for a few days: tilting my head from side to side, squinting my eyes really tight. 'Take this one, put it there, move that one down there' I added two pieces from Home Goods (of course!) LOVE (always needed) & this handwritten French canvas (I have no idea what it says but I love all things Parisian) And Here is the final result! Hopefully, you're inspired! And remember-- you can use a plethora of items to create your gallery wall! Friends & family photos, postcards, printed artwork, or even photos of beaches you've visited (like my bedroom wall) Send over some photos of your accent wall or Ask for ideas for your wall! Looking forward to hearing from you all! Queen Es

I spent last weekend in Washington, D.C. My good friend: hair guru Amber (@TheGlamExperience) and I planned a productive couple of days. Everything didn't go as planned BUT We learned so much about ourselves, our business plans & our passion towards being relentlessly successful. The 'setbacks' we faced were easily overcome because we both embody a special gift called: Perseverance. We never lost sight of our goals! "When life gives you lemons, make grape juice & leave the world wondering how you did it!" We learned just how advanced we were in our business sense. As students of life, every person should be willing to grab every opportunity to learn. But we have to realize that sometimes, we possess the very answers we think we are seeking. We were so eager to take in some of the nightlife... Simply put: DRINKS! Lol And being in the adventurous mode, we tried all different kinds! Yummy! And we capped off our night by visiting a new restaurant/lounge/bar in Adams Morgan-- My new favorite spot: the 2020 Lounge Tell Tiffany & Vaughn that Queen Es sent you! This whole weekend was so beautifully, dramatically, captivatingly, mesmerizingly played out on our SnapChats! Follow us: TheQueenEsmari & GlamExperience SPECIAL NOTE:
About a year and a half ago, I had the opportunity to have a "One on One with Mia Ray". Mia had caught my attention on Twitter & Instagram years before with her stylish photos & stories & the release of her 'Same Girl, Different Hair' tshirts. My love for hair & switching it up compelled me to purchase two! As her brand: Glamaholic Lifestyle expanded, so did my admiration for her. Her life story is so inspiring-- rising from just an idea with no funds to raising two kids & having a fluid income. On my "One on One with Mia Ray", She listened to my business plan. Gave me priceless information & ideas. Redirected some of my strategy. Showed me where to channel my energy. Encouraged my passion. And helped galvanize my dream project: Regalia Lifestyle. Well, I finally got my chance to thanks her in person this weekend! Hey Royals! The seasons are changing! Brooklyn actually got a taste of Spring for the past two days! Time to take off that flannel & wrap it around your waist! (It's also a good idea to keep something warm nearby because the weather can switch up really quickly) I also took this opportunity to bare my legs! Mini it is! So I paired this funky, preppy dress (I got this last season as a Soho boutique) with a flannel Ralph Lauren button up. And my favorite booties by Just Fab. I'm sooooo excited for all the things in store!
This new season, is really a new season for me! Thanks for being on this journey with me! What do you have planned for this new season?! Signed, Queen Es Hey Royals! This is just a quick 'check in' to ya! I have been on such a creative high lately! I can't wait to share it all! Surrounding one's self with others who are thinkers & doers can do so much for one's ambition! I find that I am no longer entertaining conversations that are aimless nor people who lack drive and action. This new level isn't crowded Simply because it takes so much dedication. I hope that you all remember your dreams & your passions and just don't rest until you attain greatness! Your greatness is calling!
I believe in you! Queen Es |
