 Good Day, Royals! Today, I hosted my first Regalia Lifestyle event: The Royal Bazaar! Months ago, I found myself with closetsss full and a storage unit filled with goodies! Clothes that had never been worn, Shoes that maybe went from the car to a building and back one night Jewelry I purchased thinking I had to have but no outfit to pair it with... I decided to have a sale! I began to plan... I know there are many more people just like me with clothes they never wore or items they donned for just a few hours. The date was set, people were invited and we were ready! The Bazaar was also opened for sales from entrepreneurs like wholesale representatives to snack curators!  Hey Royals! I was recently afforded the opportunity to join my bro @BobbyTrendz in Houston, Texas. Bobby Trendz & TrendzPad have created a symposium for men (and the women who love them) called A Gentlemen's Guide. -Search #AGentlemensGuideHouston on Instagram- The Houston edition was equipped with gentlemen who were passionate about sharing their style stories & encouraging attendees to find theirs. The underlying theme of the event became searching one's self & exuding personal style. And of course with Bobby, there would be some fun times! Look thru these pics! A time to be calm & release feelings of nervous tension & stress. Find the time........ Better yet-- Make time to rejuvenate yourself! For me, it's the flicker & scent of a candle, aesthetic of plush flowers and a moment of tranquility. Ahh.. Perfect! Try it, Royals! Hey Royals! A moment of honesty: if I ever tell you that I'm going to Home Goods 'real quick'-- Don't believe me! Lol! Between designing the home of my dreams and Styling my current humble abode, I can easily spend hours in Home Goods.  I like to start in the Specialty foods area. Sometimes they have cool snacks and chips worth the try! I browse the Kitchen/Dining area for international finds and little things I never knew I needed until I saw it! ;) As with anything else in the store, they're one of a kind! Then I make my way over to the bathroom accessory area & I usually grab about 3 bars of soap. (Yes, I use soap bars! I'm not into shower gels)  My new soap matches my bedroom decor! All that was appetizer! The entree: Home Accents! Throw Pillows- I like to switch mine out every couple of seasons Shelf Art- sculptures & vases always catch my eye and drumroll, please: Candles! I'm in another world when I park my cart, grab those unique bottles and whiff away! I used to be an 'almond' or 'vanilla' girl but now! There are no rules!  This Patchouli?!!! by Makers of Wax Goods! It's perfectly soft, a little wood-sy with a little spice I cannot wait to light it and have it fill my mini apartment palace with it's greatness!  When I'm all done with candles, I'll walk through the wall art section. Just to see if there's any silver, gold, Parisian-style art. Depending on my project. (I'm currently on the hunt for a couple 11" canvases) Now on to bedding!   Who says you have to wait until you get to a hotel to love the feel of the bed?!
To add to the comfort of my bed, I grabbed a new mattress pad and 2 more pillows. I really like white bedding right now, so I picked up a couple more sheet sets! Chairs! I need chairs! Such cute chairs! When I have my large palace, I hope some of these chairs are still here. I'll be coming back for them! But right now, none are quite suitable for the current space I need to fill. So summery! So good! I got a chance to wear my new kimono! On a recent shopping excursion in one of my favorite stores, I went with one specific item in mind: a long turquoise sun dress. Got it! While browsing the store, I got an idea! I need a kimono! I pictured myself dolled up hosting a dinner party at my dining table: set for 16. (No one else dreams in Royalty? Lol) A walk to the ever inviting sales rack... And boom! A Kimono! The only one! On sale! $9.99  Thank you fashion gods for my lucky find! I wanted it to stand out, so I went with a Basic white tank from H&M, and a White pencil skirt from Forever 21. Enjoy the Summer, Royals!!!  |
